- We research and evaluate the brand against our editorial criteria.
- We create honest, detailed review content covering products, quality, value, and customer experience.
- We include a unique tracking link (often called an affiliate link) so the brand knows our readers sent them traffic.
- If a reader clicks our link and makes a purchase, the brand pays us a commission — this is how Aalulu sustains its operations.
The commission is paid by the brand, not added to your purchase price. You pay exactly the same (or sometimes less, via our exclusive discount codes) as you would buying directly.
How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Reviews
They don't — and here's why we mean that.
Every brand we review is evaluated honestly. We have declined to publish positive reviews for brands whose products did not meet our standards, even when that meant forgoing affiliate income. Our editorial team operates independently from our commercial relationships.
Our editorial guidelines require that:
- Every review reflects genuine research and, where possible, testing.
- Brands cannot pay for higher ratings or more favourable coverage.
- Negative aspects of a product or brand are disclosed alongside positives.
- Our "Aalulu Verdict" scores are calculated against consistent criteria — not influenced by commercial agreements.
Which Links Are Affiliate Links?
All links to brand websites on Aalulu.com are affiliate links unless explicitly stated otherwise. You can identify them by the rel="nofollow sponsored" attribute in the HTML, or simply assume that any link pointing to a brand's external site carries an affiliate relationship.
Links to other websites — including our own internal pages, Google, Wikipedia, or informational sources — are not affiliate links.
